EC Bar Ranch Adventures is owned and operated by Lyndon and Denise Drefs.owners  We were both raised on farms near High Prairie and now operate the Drefs family farm located along the East Prairie River south-east of High Prairie, Alberta. Our 3 kids assisted with farm chores and were all part of our Trail Ride Venture when we first opened with our Trail Riding venture in May, 2009.

Denise has owned many horses and participated in local team cattle penning and gymkhana clubs.  For Lyndon, this farm was his playground when he was growing up.  We have spent most of our lives on farms and couldn't think of a better place to live.

Together, we have operated this family farm since 1985 with Lyndon’s parents and later took over the operation.

In 1997, we began our first farm diversification project by starting a custom baling business. This eventually turned into custom farming and, in 2008, we became an authorized Flaman Rentals Dealer.

Our family’s involvement in assorted youth clubs has brought many trail riding and canoe tours to our farm as well as winter Christmas parties at our tobogganing hill. This excellent tobogganing hill has always been a popular winter activity here.

We are always happy to welcome guests to the farm and talk about all it has to offer.
